Recently I have been learning Forex and been trading Forex too. I still remember that I learned it in 2 years back ago. That was my first experience with Forex.
At that time, I was still very puzzled and clueless about what trading and investment is all about. Neither did I find myself that after 1 and half years later which is now, I’ve already traded Forex and came to love it.
It is a rather great market where great riches are born. But there are also some people who might lose it all… That was me when I first started trading. Emotions particularly Greed came over me and made me lose a lot of money. At this time, I stop and think and plan for my next step in life.
What should you do when you first lose money in trading? Well, I must say this is also a period whereby some of my friends also lost money. Sometimes I just wondered if all these are coincidence or not or it is just the market doing a correction to eliminate the weaker players in the market. The market just forces everyone to learn from its mistakes.
We humans love to make mistakes, make some more mistakes until it is unbearable before we start to learn from them. This is just what we call as we only learn through pain. If the pain level is very high, we will learn from these mistakes forever and never ever make them again.
Forex is almost like the Fast and Furious movie. Sometimes, it can be so adrenaline rushing when you entered and your profits increase in just minutes. Or the other way round though.
So that my kind of view on Forex, maybe it will change in the future.

Today was my health insurance exams and I sort of panicked for awhile yesterday. But owing to Jack’s advice, I stayed focus and planned out my schedule to make full use of my time to conquer my exams.
So I did my best to study and memorize all the stuff in the textbook even though I didn’t take any leave from my work to study. Suddenly I can understand the people who studied part time as it really take utmost displicine and focus to be able to study at night after a long day of work.
I really admire those university part-timers, especially since some of my friends were studying part time previously. Now I really know how they felt that time. Even though my paper is just one MCQ but still I had the experience of studying late at night yet had the desire to pass the paper. Well, as what Jack always drums into me, “Tough times don’t last long, tough men do”.
I’m not exactly saying that I’m a tough guy physically in physique but rather the mindset and mentality in facing challenges. So I perservered on and completed the revision.
As I was going through the paper in the exam hall, initially it was okay. I knew the answers but gradually the answers slipped by me… so I was struggling but I wanted to pass. So I hang on and did a last double checking on my answers before submitting.
When I clicked on the confirmation button on the computer screen to submit my answers, I was sort of praying for a pass. But the unthinkable happened… the results showed FAIL… I was stunned for 5 seconds before really leaving my seat to collect my failed result slip.
Suddenly I just had the feeling that my time and money was wasted and I will need to invest somemore into retaking the paper again.
So I called Jack the moment I got out of Suntec and he just told me some tips to remember the questions so that I can revise on them later on for my re-take.
Suddenly I appreciate the feeling and experience of passing and scoring exams since it’s been some time that I have failed any kind of subject. So I immediately booked the next exam date, 19 Nov, one week later.
