New Internet Strategies…

Well, just taken a look at some of the courses that Jack sent me that deals with making money using pay-per-click(PPC) and he wanted me to complete all of the courses so I gave it all my best in learning everything then.

It’s really interesting and provides a lot of great insights into what is really behind the scenes of those making millions of dollars versus those who make a few dollars a day or even nothing…

If you really wanted to know more about what I’m learning, just email me or give me some comments. =)

Cya again…

Rainy Days…Pondering Time

It’s raining now and I’m typing this at home while listening to radio. It just seems so long that I’ve listened to radio.

Today it’s a relaxing Sunday for me.

I’ve been thinking of a lot of things recently…about how my life turned out the way I wanted it to be. It’s just so interesting and unique that a person’s life can turned out so different even if their experiences are so similar or even if they comes from the same family background.

I have met some people who related their life stories to me these few days. Some are really successful in almost every aspect of their life, earning well over 6 figures or 7 figures income. They spoken to me about what I wanted in life and also regarding building my first pot of gold.

Well, haven you ever thought of how to build your first pot of gold? If you haven’t, maybe I can share with you what I’ve learned from it.

Okay good, the rain is clearing up. =) Back to listening my radio that’s playing “Nan Ren Nu Ren” now.

Working at End of CNY

Today is the end of Chinese New Year called Yuan Xiao. Because of this, my ex-boss, Kim, asked me if I wanted to work or not for this event. Since I was having a bit of free time and also wanted to catch up with him and maybe Kenny, I agreed to work today.

So I was there at the Tian Fu Gong at Telok Ayer street. This event was held by the Hokkien Association of Singapore.

I was supposed to be the in-charge for firing the confetti cannons which marks the start and the end of the celebration. The first cue was good, but the second cue when I have to wait for the white colorful dragon to go off wasn’t timed accurately. Because there wasn’t any cue signal that I can follow and luckily Kim was around to see that the dragon was going off and told me to fire. Else I think it will just go off without my confetti shots.

The event was supposed to start at 7pm but it kind of dragged as usual… to 8pm before the actual performance starts. And I hadn’t had dinner at that time yet…

Well, overall the performance was only okay, not that fantastic and with some cockups… Saw that there’s some communication lags that caused the cockups..

Hmm… after the work, it just pack up and go. But I’m really tired after everything because I have not been doing these kind of “siong” activities except for exercising. Last I did was last year. Hmm…am I getting weak? Damn… need to train up once again. Nevermind, it will give me more energy. :D

Ciao~ I’m going to rest already.

Genting Trip With New Colleagues – Gambling Tips

Well, just got back yesterday from my Genting trip. Had a fun time with them especially going to the casinos. Really experience what is a casino and how people can get really ADDICTED to this vice and I mean REALLY…

It’s so plain simple and easy. I just tried the slot machines and it can immediately get so addictive because I was basically just pressing on some buttons and the stupid machine even have lights on the buttons to visually attract your attention to them. Thus making me to press them and losing faster :(  hahahaha  damn… machines are just money grubbers… waste my money…

Although I didn’t really try those tables but seen some of my colleagues went over to play Blackjack and stuff. Some won and some din… well, it’s just the experience that counts I guess.

But there’s one incident which I remember very vividly and that is there’s one auntie who’s playing Blackjack. Initially, she was on a winning streak and had a LOT of chips that is $500 each and she had like 3 stacks of 10 chips… that’s like $15,000!! So I watched intently on how she would exit and keep her winnings. I left for a moment to another table upon seeing that she kept winning and I thought she would keep some since her daughter came and she gave her some to keep. But when I came back about 10 minutes later, she had no more $500 chips left! I was stunned… not only that… she still pulled out thousands from her purse and exchanged for chips to play. 3 times of exchange and she’s out of money… I only gotten a glimpse that I thought she’s only left with her transport money.

WOW! Such a turn of events! Now I get the idea that people can definitely lose their fortune in casinos and no wonder it is such a bad vice…

Hmm… gamblers out there… whether you’re full-time professional or socially. There’s still a risk of running up a huge loss. Key is to know when to exit with your winnings. Only then will you be able to make money.

Always set yourself a capital to lose when you are gambling and DO NOT exceed that even if it means losing all that capital and taking a loss.

Here are some photos which were taken during my trip.

PowerSeraya Colleagues

Wow! Today is a great day for me. Suddenly a sense of happiness just came over me. I was busy taking photos with me and my great colleagues. It’s really been great working with them all these while.

Remembering that when I first joined this company, I only got to know Kristine then slowly I got to know our beloved Cat (Catherine) :p then Jen Sen and Foong.

Kristine is the one who always helped me with those monthly report figures and Cat too. Although Cat also brought in some of her great home made pastries, especially her brownies. Normally, I don’t really take brownies as they’re really too sweet for me but her’s was another story. You really have to try it then you will know I’m really experiencing. : )

Jen Sen and Foong are really two jokers who sometimes loves to make fun of us whenever we were gossiping or talking bad in front of them… hahaha :P

But they’re really great colleagues and friends. We helped each other, shared food, ate lunch together, talked crap and just have fun together, although there are still the normal gossips here and there.

They’re still a lovely bunch of people who have brought another sense of fulfilment and joy to my life. Hope I have brought to them at least some joy too :p since I’m leaving soon… start of next year 2 Jan. Sad… will definitely missed their laughter.

Friends Provident International Product Launch

Wow! Just now I just went to a product launch by Friends Provident International at Asian Civilization Museum. It was an invitation by Jack . This is the company which I’ll be joining in a month’s time.

The Friends Provident International is actually launching two products that are catered for high net worth people. They are the Global Wealth Manager and Global Wealth Builder.

I’ll just give a really short summary for each of the two products. Global Wealth Builder is a regular premium investment-linked savings plan and it offers up to 137.5% allocation for the full 18-month Initial Unit period up until 31st Dec 2008. But you can also inquire about the other allocations after that date.

For Global Wealth Manager, it is a single premium investment linked plan that pays 101% death benefit of the surrender value of the plan. There are even a scheme called the Loyalty Bonus Scheme that gives you annual bonus to your plan itself.

We really had good time over there with free food and even free flow of drinks for the night.

Then there’s a magician performing and there’s also another guy. What he does is incredible. He’s practically cutting out the image of our face or rather the head.

These two photos of me are the end result of his skills.

Stephen Pierce Make Money On The Internet Workshop

Yesterday, Jack asked me if I’m able to attend a workshop by Stephen Pierce tomorrow. I agreed. For those of you who are not too sure about who he is. Stephen Pierce is an internet marketer who made his riches from the internet and becomes a multi-millionaire.

The workshop starts at 8am and so I had to wake up really early today just for the workshop because his workshop is conducted at Grand Mercure Roxy near east coast road and I live in Clementi.

Well, I met and network with many people at the workshop. It was really awesome! I’ve been networking these few weeks and gotten to know a lot of great people who are really like-minded with me.

The workshop is really great! Stephen Pierce taught us about the basics about internet marketing and how not starting right will be disastrous to any person who wants to build a business online. He even gave us a worksheet which automatically guide us to finding a profitable niche and make a business out of it.

It’s a really long time since I get in touch with Stephen Pierce again. It’s just refreshing to listen to him again on internet marketing. I’ve also refreshed my knowledge on it.

Made some new contacts and intending to connect with them soon.

Flatworld – Business Networking Session

Just now I went for a Networking Session under an invitation from Danny Ng. Well, I don’t know him but just that he sent me a sms inviting me to a networking session after he gotten my namecard from the Millionaire Mind Intensive.

So I accepted the invitation and went ahead. It was at ScoreBot, a cafe like shopfront with an office on the second floor. And it’s opposite of my future workplace at Parkview Square, Bugis.

The moment I got in, it was such a warm atmosphere with people introducing themselves to one another. I also got in touch with an old friend or rather I attended his grooming workshop before. Anyway, it was really filled with people and we exchanged namecards with one another. Getting to know their names have been a challenge to me but I’m slowly getting the hang of it already.

Through meeting more and more people, I’m starting to expand my network and remembering faces and names need to take a little bit more patience.

So they introduced Flatworld which is another networking group similar to BnI group, but just that it doesn’t have the strict regulations like the latter. Flatworld itself originated from Malaysia and they already had more than 400 merchants in their network. They are really easy going and there was more freedom given to each individual who joined the Flatworld.

After the short introductory on Flatworld, we again went on to network among ourselves. In the end, I got to know a few people and chatted for quite some time before leaving.

I really felt that this is a really valuable session. I’ve met up with many people and really expanded my horizons and knowledge through my interactions with them. Of course, namecards were exchanged so that we can still remember each other and maintain contact still.

Well, they invited me to their launch of Flatworld in Singapore next friday and I agreed upon their invitation since I will get to know more people in that bigger event.

SIC Health Insurance Exams…

Today was my health insurance exams and I sort of panicked for awhile yesterday. But owing to Jack’s advice, I stayed focus and planned out my schedule to make full use of my time to conquer my exams.

So I did my best to study and memorize all the stuff in the textbook even though I didn’t take any leave from my work to study. Suddenly I can understand the people who studied part time as it really take utmost displicine and focus to be able to study at night after a long day of work.

I really admire those university part-timers, especially since some of my friends were studying part time previously. Now I really know how they felt that time. Even though my paper is just one MCQ but still I had the experience of studying late at night yet had the desire to pass the paper. Well, as what Jack always drums into me, “Tough times don’t last long, tough men do”.

I’m not exactly saying that I’m a tough guy physically in physique but rather the mindset and mentality in facing challenges. So I perservered on and completed the revision.

As I was going through the paper in the exam hall, initially it was okay. I knew the answers but gradually the answers slipped by me… so I was struggling but I wanted to pass. So I hang on and did a last double checking on my answers before submitting.

When I clicked on the confirmation button on the computer screen to submit my answers, I was sort of praying for a pass. But the unthinkable happened… the results showed FAIL… I was stunned for 5 seconds before really leaving my seat to collect my failed result slip.

Suddenly I just had the feeling that my time and money was wasted and I will need to invest somemore into retaking the paper again.

So I called Jack the moment I got out of Suntec and he just told me some tips to remember the questions so that I can revise on them later on for my re-take.

Suddenly I appreciate the feeling and experience of passing and scoring exams since it’s been some time that I have failed any kind of subject. So I immediately booked the next exam date, 19 Nov, one week later.
